Although summers tend to zip by, leaving unfinished books and other ambitions in the dust, I still get excited at the prospect of "loads of free time" (after work or while on vacation) just to relax and enjoy a good book.      
The CWRU-Daily.com recently featured the mindfulness research of Christopher Lyddy, an organizational doctoral candidate at Case Western Reserve's Weatherhead School of Management.  Lyddy, a co-lead author with Weatherhead alum Darren Good, PhD., and colleagues have published an article entitled "Contemplating Mindfulness at Work:  An Integrative Review" in the 42 Journal of Management 114 (2016).     
Currently, the U.S. presidential campaign is dominated by conversation about the personalities, temperament and, character of those seeking to follow President Obama.      
For the past couple of months, I've written about Cleveland libraries with significant law collections that are open to the public once a week (Cleveland Law Library - Wednesdays) or weekly, Monday thru Friday (Cleveland Public Administration Library).       
Cleveland Public Library, one of the top public libraries in the United States, has one of the oldest municipal reference libraries in the country.  Established in 1912, the Public Administration Library (PAL) is a department of the Cleveland Public Library, but it is housed in Cleveland City Hall, Room 100, 601 Lakeside Ave., Cleveland, OH.  Its unique location requires a few adjustments for visitors, such as presenting photo identification when entering City Hall and, weekly hours on ...
