Co-deans Jessica Berg and Michael Scharf announced three additions to the CWRU law faculty.
Anat Beck is a tenure-track Assistant Professor, who will teach Contracts and Business Associations. Prof. Beck received her LL.B. from Tel Aviv University Buchmann Faculty of Law, and she previously was the Jacobson Fellow in Law and Business at the New York University School of Law.
Cathy Mansfield will be a faculty member teaching in the JD program and the Executive Director of the Masters in Financial Integrity (MAFI) program. Prof. Mansfield has a BA from NYU and a JD from the the University of Virginia. She is an expert in commercial and consumer law who previously was a tenured professor at Drake University.
Katharine Van Tassel, a distinguished CWRU Law alumni, will be a full-time Visiting Professor and teach Sales, Elder Law, FDA Law and a seminar. She has a BSN and JD from CWRU, an MPH in Law and Public Health Policy from Harvard University, and an MS in Food Safety from Johns Hopkins University. She previously served as Dean and Professor of Law at San Francisco Law School.
