Congratulations to all the new 2L associate editors of the Journal of International Law, Health Matrix
, Journal of Law Technology & the Arts
, and the Case Western Reserve Law Review
. The library is here to help you find sources efficiently and effectively.
Librarians with at least 100 years combined source-finding experience are available to help you at the reference desk. Use the 15-minute rule; if you've spent 15-minutes looking for
a source, stop and ask for help.
If you find a source on the internet for which the publisher wants to charge you a fee to access, ask a librarian if we can get you a copy for "free"!
The reference desk email address is email@example.com, phone number is 216-368-5206, and desk hours are 9am–7pm Monday - Thursday and 9–5 Friday. Starting on September 7 we also provide reference coverage (added to the schedule in large part to help journal students) on Saturdays or Sundays, from noon–5pm.
On our website you will find information about our services to journal staff members
and a research guide, Sources for Student Publication Cite Checking. The "Sources for Student Publication Cite Checking
" guide helps find preferred sources for cite-able law and often-used secondary sources. In addition to helping journal staffers find sources for cite checking, the librarians also offer personal research consultations
(PeRCs) to help staffers research their note topics.
