In February, 2014 Professor Webster accompanied Dean Scharf on a recruiting trip to China. They met with senior administration and faculty and gave academic lectures at five partner law schools in Beijing, Chongqing and Shanghai; hosted receptions for alumni and prospective students in all three cities; and met with educational agents in Beijing and Shanghai. The LLM program attracted over 250 applications this year, the second largest number in the program’s 22-year history.
