The Case Western Reserve Journal of Law, Technology & the Internet ("JOLTI") is a bi-annual peer-reviewed student-run law journal that publishes the works of academics, practitioners, and other relevant experts on a variety of topics including intellectual property and technology law. We welcome the unsolicited submission of any full-length manuscript addressing the intersection of law and technology. Case Western Reserve School of Law faculty members serve as peer-reviewers for all manuscripts.
Case Western Reserve School of Law students receive three credits as a member of JOLTI. Rising second-year students are eligible to participate in a write-on competition. The students selected as Associate Editors from the write-on competition will author a scholarly Note on a relevant topic through a year-long three credit seminar. Students work closely with the instructor to develop their topics, thesis, outlines, and final Note.
Third-year students are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the journal's operations, including editing and publishing. Third-year students receive two ungraded credits for running the journal.
