CSO Staff
Our staff of seven includes six attorneys available to provide you with individualized career counseling. All Career Services Office personnel are leaders in the legal field and are active in numerous professional associations.
Kelli C. Curtis, Esq.
, the Assistant Dean for Career Services, has been with the Career Services Office at Case Western Reserve University School of Law since 2005. Previously, she worked for LexisNexis. She earned her J.D. at The Ohio State University College of Law and her B.A. at Western Michigan University. Ms. Curtis is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and the National Association for Law Placement. Ms. Curtis is also the Treasurer of the Law Placement Association of Cleveland.
Candice L. Storey, Esq
.
, the Director of Career Counseling, joined the Case Western Reserve University School of Law Career Services Office in 2006. Previous to her arrival at Case Western, she practiced estate planning and probate law at two small firms in the Cleveland area. Ms. Storey earned her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her B.S. from Bowling Green State University. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and the National Association for Law Placement.
Sarah Dylag Beznoska, J.D.
, the Director of Career Programming, joined the Case Western Reserve University School of Law Career Services Office in 2007. Prior to her arrival at Case Western, she worked as an attorney for the Washington State House of Representatives in Olympia, Washington. She also worked in private practice for a large firm in Washington DC. Ms. Beznoska earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. She is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Association, and is a member of the National Association of Law Placement.
Mary Beth Moore, Esq.
, the Director of Employer Outreach, joined Case Western Reserve University School of Law Career Services Office in February, 2011. Prior to her arrival at Case Western, Ms. Moore worked in the appellate research & writing department of a mid –size civil litigation firm in Cleveland. Ms. Moore earned her J.D., cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her A.B. from Ohio University. Ms. Moore is admitted to the Ohio bar and is also a member of the National Association of Law Placement and the Ohio Bar Association.
Heather Day DiFranco, Esq

, the Director of Career Communications, joined the Case Western Reserve University School of Law Career Services Office in 2007. Previous to joining the CSO, she worked as a Senior Attorney Editor at Thomson/Reuters and practiced family law and school law in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her J.D. at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her B.A. at Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the National Resume Writers Association, and the National Association of Law Placement - for which she is a Vice Chair of the Public Service Section.
Sonja (Sunny) McCord
, the Recruitment Coordinator for the Career Services Office joined the CSO in August of 2009. Most recently, she worked as the Recruitment Coordinator in the University Career Center. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration degree at Case Western Reserve University. Sunny’s primary responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling on- and off-campus interview programs in Cleveland and in other major metropolitan areas; coordinating employer outreach efforts, including invitation mailings and phone calls; prepare statistical reports for national publications; coordinating numerous job fairs; and managing computerized scheduling programs used by the Career Services Office.
