My favorite classes from 1L year are Property and Core 1 and 2.
This is a hard question because each professor I have had at Case Law have helped push me forward in my professional development. However, I would say that, from my 1L year, I really enjoyed learning Property from Professor Kostritsky`s class because she was immensely engaging and kept me on my toes each day! I also felt that my legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills improved significantly during the course of the year in Professor Mercer`s Core 1 and 2 class.

Case Western Law Review, Dean`s Honors List
Before Law School, I did biomedical research at Harvard and health policy research at Duke. During my 1L year, I split my summer working as a Law-Medicine Research Fellow for Professor Berg and as a legal intern at Lian & Lien Intellectual Property Attorneys in Beijing, China.
In my opinion, managing your time well is an important skill for succeeding in law school. I would budget time for each project (whether it is an exam, memo, etc.) and stick to that time budget plan. I would also budget time for relaxation too, especially for exploring the awesome culinary, cultural, sports, and arts experiences in Cleveland.

Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
