Student Organizations
We are proud of the extensive student organizations our law school offers. This not only enhances your law school experience, but is a wonderful way to remain even more engaged and active during your time here.
Our Office of Student Services takes very seriously its commitment to support our students and student organizations. We work closely with our student organizations and student leaders to give them the assistance that they need to thrive and succeed. We also provide advice and assistance to students who wish to start a new student organization. Following are the links to more information about student organizations recognized during the 2012-2013 academic year.
Hispanic Law Students Association
HLSA seeks to create an academic and intellectual network with the Hispanic legal community, from which the entire law school community benefits. As part of these efforts, HLSA has sponsored and cosponsored talks by visiting speakers from Ecuador, Mexico, and NAFTA. Through STEP-UP, HLSA is involved with the local community by bringing law student volunteers to local junior high schools to mentor and tutor disadvantaged children. HLSA also sponsors social activities. Hispanic students are invited and encouraged to become members of the Ohio Hispanic Bar Association, which offers a mentoring program and networking opportunities.

Footnote:
Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
