Student Organizations
We are proud of the extensive student organizations our law school offers. This not only enhances your law school experience, but is a wonderful way to remain even more engaged and active during your time here.
Our Office of Student Services takes very seriously its commitment to support our students and student organizations. We work closely with our student organizations and student leaders to give them the assistance that they need to thrive and succeed. We also provide advice and assistance to students who wish to start a new student organization. Following are the links to more information about student organizations recognized during the 2012-2013 academic year.
Federalist Society
The Federalist Society is an organization of practicing attorneys, law professors and students dedicated to bringing conservative and libertarian ideas into law schools and the organized Bar. The student and lawyer chapters sponsor debates, speeches and symposia across the country to advance the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of powers between the branches and levels of government must be preserved and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be.

Footnote:
Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
