CWRU School of Law has been a supporting member of the Council on Legal Education Opportunities (CLEO), a nonprofit entity of the American Bar Association that aims to diversify the legal profession, since its founding.

CLEO assists minority, low-income, and disadvantaged students in entering law school through a variety of educational programs including pre-law recruitment, counseling, placement assistance, and training.
