Law school hosts oral arguments for the Supreme Court of Ohio

The Supreme Court of Ohio held oral arguments at our law school on Tuesday, September 25 as part of its Off-Site Court Program. Students and faculty had the opportunity to observe one of four arguments:

Case 1, State of Ohio v. Clarence D. Roberts - The briefs: Appellant’s Opening Brief, Appellee’s Brief, Appellant’s Reply Brief.

Case 2, D.W. v. T.L. - The briefs: Appellant’s Opening Brief, Appellee’s Brief, Appellant’s Reply Brief.

Case 3, Larry Hewitt v. The L.E. Myers Co. et al. - The briefs: Appellant’s Opening Brief, Appellee’s Brief, Appellant’s Reply Brief

Case 4, State of Ohio v. Van Williams - The briefs: Appellant’s Opening Brief, Appellee’s Brief, Appellant’s Reply Brief.

Footnote: Case is on the rise. We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
