Law school welcomes newest class of JD and LL.M. students
JD and LL.M. students were
greeted by Dean Lawrence Mitchell
and members of our law school faculty and staff. During Introductory Week, our entering students attended a trial and appellate argument; conducted their first interview simulations; and enjoyed social activities. In addition to the first-year class, we welcomed a class of over 80 LL.M. students, our largest ever, from 11 countries including: China, India, Korea, Kuwait, Nigeria, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
"Through Orientation and Introductory Week, we aim to ease new students into their academic life at the law school, show the many ways the faculty and staff are here to support them, and provide opportunities for students to get to know one another and see what Cleveland has to offer," said Sarah McFarlane Polly, Associate Dean for Student Services.

Footnote:
Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
