Strengthening young alumni connections with our law school
l to r: Ryan Bocskay '05, Dean Lawrence Mitchell, Peter Collins '04
Our Class Agent program seeks to provide an opportunity for our most recent graduates to continue to engage with each other and our law school in a variety of ways, including: sending updates regarding their careers; attending and encouraging participation at alumni events across the country; mentoring current students; and participating in reunion planning.
Alumni volunteers involved in this program work closely with our Office of Development & Public Affairs and serve as liaisons between the law school and their classmates to enhance alumni outreach and encourage former classmates to stay connected to the law school.
Currently, there are 41 recent graduates representing the class years of 2000 - 2011.

In March, we concluded our first Class Agent fundraising drive and presented the following awards and prizes:
Dean's Cup:
Awarded to the class with the highest annual fund contribution in the Class Agent Program (2012 Winner: Class of 2001)
Dean's Participation Cup:
Awarded to the class with the highest annual fund participation in the Class Agent Program (2012 Winner: Class of 2003) Prizes were also awarded to other Class Agents in various categories:
Amanda Raines ('03) for the first gift secured during the fundraising drive
Alex Van Voorhees ('06) for making the most phone calls to classmates
Kristin Morrison ('09) for securing the gift of the highest dollar amount
In its first year of implementation, the program has been successful. The results of the fundraising component have shown a considerable increase over past years, which has an indirect positive effect on law school rankings. This program has also provided the law school with updated contact information for many of our more recent graduates, whom we would otherwise not be able to reach. We hope to recruit additional Class Agents in the coming year. If you are interested in participating, please contact

Footnote:
Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
