(Kaplan, 2011), Jim Petro's memoir focusing on wrongful conviction. The book details his unlikely intervention while serving as Ohio Attorney General on behalf of an Innocence Project client imprisoned for murder and rape. The book garnered the authors a 2011 Constitutional Commentary award (The Constitution Project).

changed their views on criminal justice," said Petro, now Chancellor of the Board of Regents of the University System of Ohio. "Among its messages: A prosecutor's obligation is to seek the truth, not just win the contest."
