Short-Term Employment Program Launched
The Short-Term Employment Program (STEP) is designed specifically for employers with special projects or short-term needs. Targeting employers needing assistance with special projects as well as students and alumni looking for short-term opportunities, the Career Services Office launched the Short-Term Employment Program (STEP) in June 2011. STEP is designed specifically to address the needs of lawyers and organizations who find themselves with an overburdened caseload or a daunting special project that could use the assistance of a talented new graduate or current student. “Employers traditionally think of the Career Services Office when they’re looking for summer, permanent, or other more long-term assistance. We also want them to think of us when they need help for only 40 hours, three weeks, or two months,” explained Kelli C. Curtis, Assistant Dean for Career Services. Available to employers and alumni nationwide, opportunities posted through the Short-Term Employment Program are free to post and search on our password-protected jobs board.

Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
