Congratulations to our National Moot Court Team!
Congratulations to our National Moot Court Team! The team consisting of Erica James, George Zokle and Amy Cohn traveled to New York City to compete in the 60th Annual National Moot Court competition at the New York City Bar Association on Feb. 1-4.
Out of 150 law schools participating, the CWRU team earned its position at this competition by winning the Midwest competition held back in November 2009. Twenty-eight teams, who had been either the winner or runner-up of their regional competition, participated in the final rounds of this competition. After two rounds, the CWRU team advanced to the octo-finals, ranked 11th. In a very close round, CWRU received 96 points out of 100, eventually being defeated by the University of Arkansas, who earned only 2 points higher, and eventually won the competition.
Once again, congratulations to the members of the team and the faculty advisors for a job well done!

Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
