ABA Moot Court Team Earns Final Round Finish at Dallas Contest
The Case law school American Bar Association (ABA) Moot Court Team of third-year students Kyle Cutts, Gillian Lindsay, and Molly Dwyer made it to the final round of the ABA’s Regional Moot Court Competition, held in Dallas at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Professor Jennifer Cupar, cofounder and co-assistant director of the law school’s Legal Writing Academy, served as team coach. To earn a spot in the fi nal round, the team won four straight oral arguments.
In the final round the team lost to Samford University by just one point, but still managed to earn the highest finish ever by a team from the School of Law.
The competition featured 30 teams from 15 schools across the country. Cutts also won one of the awards for the top 10 speakers in the competition.
