Stay Connected
We hope you’ll consider your years in law school to be just the beginning of a lifelong relationship with us. We encourage you to stay connected throughout your career and beyond.
For starters, be sure to keep us up to date with your contact information and career news. Consider becoming a class agent – a liaison between the law school and your classmates – or join the reunion advisory committee. (And don’t miss Alumni Weekend and Reunion!)
You can also help our student recruitment and admissions process by interviewing applicants. Or you might provide firsthand career and professional guidance to a current student by serving as a mentor or simply going to lunch.

Take a Law Student to Lunch
Launched in 2009, this program pairs alumni and law students and gives you the opportunity to share your perspectives and experiences and to answer questions about the legal profession, career paths, strategies for success, the job market and more.
Alumni and student matches are based on student interest and alumni background/practice area. (Alumni in "non-traditional" careers are most welcome to participate). We coordinate the program every fall and spring semester, although many alumni and students continue to meet outside the scheduled events as well.

Making Connections: Alumni-Student Mentoring Program
This new program is designed to provide students with alumni mentors who can offer career and professional advice through a series of lunchtime events. By meeting several times during the academic year, students and mentors have the opportunity to engage in continuing conversations, bringing new questions to the table at each event.
Alumni and students are placed in mentoring groups comprised of three to five students and two or more mentors. During the academic year, mentoring groups will be invited to four events in downtown Cleveland or at the law school. Two events, including a kickoff happy hour and luncheon, are held in the fall, and two events – both luncheons – are held in the spring. Each event features a guest speaker. Student participation is limited to second- and third-year students.
