Our international war crimes research program was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for our students' work on the trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylor, and our Jessup International Law Moot Court team was the last American team to win the World Championship.

You can spend a semester in one of our almost thirty semester-long study-abroad programs, including new programs with the top ten law schools in China. Or you could spend a semester interning, for credit, at international courts and NGOs across the globe. Our multi-million dollar endowed Cox Center provides funding to help pay your travel and living expenses.

Students in our Law Clinic recently won a $1.1 million dollar jury verdict for their pro bono clients. We now have enough placements in our four Clinics, Immigration Practicum, and semester-long externships for every student who wants one.

The law school is just a short stroll from Severance Hall (home of the Cleveland Orchestra), the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Natural History Museum, and the Barking Spider pub - the site of weekly faculty/student jam sessions.

What's more, Cleveland is surrounded by natural beauty, including rolling hills reminiscent of New England, hundreds of miles of bike trails, state and national parks, and Lake Erie, the eleventh largest lake in the world.
