All Law School scholarships are credited against law school tuition charges only.
Scholarships can be offered to only a limited number of applicants. If you wish to reserve your qualification for the aid proposal stated in the award letter, your seat deposit(s) must be submitted to the Admissions Office by the deadline date in your Statement of Procedures.
All additional fees, such as the student activity fee, medical insurance, seat deposits, etc., must be submitted as required and are not affected by scholarships.
Scholarships, as well as the continued validity of your admission to Case Western Reserve Law School, is contingent upon your timely adherence to all requirements during the admissions process, including payment of all deposits.
In order for scholarships to be credited to your tuition account, you must maintain status as a full-time student taking law courses. You must complete and earn credit for the law courses taken during each semester. Students who matriculate into a dual degree program are eligible for scholarships from the law school for a maximum of five semesters. Scholarships will not carryover when a student withdraws from the program and is later re-admitted.
Your continued eligibility for the grant or scholarship that has been offered to you will be based upon your scholastic performance. You must remain in Good Academic Standing (currently a GPA of 2.33 is required for Good Standing) in order to renew your scholarship annually. If you do not remain in Good Academic Standing, the law school has the option of withdrawing your award for all subsequent semesters.
Your continued eligibility for this award is also contingent upon your participation in scholarship-related activities, i.e. receptions, phone-a-thons, writing letters to donors, prelaw advisors and prospective students, etc.
Scholarships will be affected if you are eligible for Case Western Reserve University tuition remission as a result of parental, spousal or your own employment. Law scholarships for students who receive other Case Western Reserve University scholarships are subject to adjustment.
Scholarships may not be used for summer terms.

Case is on the rise.
We are one of the only law schools in the country to have experienced any rise in median LSATs last year, and ours rose a whopping 2 points. Our university, ranked #37th by U.S. News & World Report, is attracting record numbers of applicants.
