In Courtroom 600 of the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, the verdicts were handed down in the trial of Nazi war criminals in 1946.

This very same venue served as the meeting spot for the 10th annual International Humanitarian Law Dialogs last September, marking the 70th anniversary of the closing of the International Military Tribunal.

The special event, organized by CWRU’s Frederick K. Cox International Law Center, in conjunction with the American Society of International Law, the Robert H. Jackson Center and others, brought together the chief prosecutors of several international criminal tribunals and other leading experts in international criminal and humanitarian law.
